How it works
No copy and paste. No second app.
Everyone sets their language once. From then on, messages are translated into the language each person reads. The first time a message needs our server to translate it, Tóvox asks you.

Chats that translate themselves
Set your language once and messages from others are translated into it, in 35 languages, with the original just above. The first time a message needs our server to translate it, Tóvox asks you.
End-to-end encrypted
Messages, photos, files and voice messages in your personal chats are locked on your device. Tóvox cannot read them, unless you choose to have a message translated on our server.
Voice and video calls
One-to-one calls, encrypted between the two devices. When a direct line is not possible, they go through our own relay.
Shared chats
Shared chats for the people you need together, with the same translation and encryption as one-to-one chats.
Voice messages
Record and send a voice message in any chat. It is encrypted like everything else.
Speak instead of typing
The mic in chat turns your voice into text on Tóvox's own server. Nothing goes to Google, and nothing is kept.
Disappearing messages
Set a chat to clear its messages after 5 minutes, an hour, a day or a week. Everyone in the chat sees a note when it changes.
